How much does the RT-PCR test cost?

There are three payment options for the RT-PCR test. 

The first option is called the Self-Payer Priority RT-PCR test. This test costs $175 and you will use your debit or credit card to complete booking the appointment. You will receive the fastest turnaround time available for that clinic to offer and Sameday Health will provide you with a superbill in your client portal online. 

The second option is called the Insurance Priority RT-PCR test. This option allows for clients to use their insurance and receive the priority turnaround time for test results. When booking online, you will use your insurance information and credit/debit card information. The test costs $75 out of pocket to book, and Sameday Health will bill your insurance for the test. The $75 fee is non-reimbursable, and Sameday Health will not provide a superbill for that cost. 

The third option is called the Standard RT-PCR test. This option does not cost anything out of pocket to book, as you will only use your insurance information to schedule the appointment. Sameday Health will bill your insurance directly for the cost of the test. When scheduling an appointment online, the client can request for a virtual consultation with one of our Sameday physicians to discuss COVID testing, symptoms, vaccines, or anything other questions a client may have relating to COVID-19.
