What sample is used for an RT-PCR test?

Sameday Health RT-PCR test samples are collected via mid-turbinate nasal swabs.

 

Mid-turbinate swabs only swab your nostril, making for a much more comfortable experience compared to traditional COVID-19 tests. 

We cannot change the collection method for our RT-PCR, or any other diagnostic, tests. If you are traveling, please confirm with your airline and destination to confirm that they will accept COVID-19 tests using mid-turbinate swabs.
